If there is metal dome with poor conduction, or no conduction, then we have to analyze, mainly in the following six reasons and and solutions:
(1). Metal domes contact side with dirty;
Solution: clearn the dirty, or replace the metal dome.
(2). The gap is too small to affect the key when pressed;
Solution: According to the size and height to design product.
(3). Metal dome shape doesn’t match the shape of the board PADs;
Solution: we can send you the pcb pad design for the metal domes, you can have a check and re-design.
(4). Double metal domes ;
Solution: exclude double metal domes.
(5).PCB board Goldfinger is oxidated;
Solution: Check the circuit board, and replace.
(6). Metal domes can’t press down as the EMI metal dome array “ear”;
Solution: Change the metal dome “ears” position or increase the height of the metal dome.
